Key Responsibilities:
As part of the hotel’s leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the site’s engineering function, including:
7. Overseeing daily operations, staff rotas, and task allocation
8. Implementing preventative Maintenance programmes across all areas
9. Managing energy usage and driving efficiency improvements
10. Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
11. Liaising with contractors and suppliers, managing quality and budgets
12. Controlling maintenance and repair spend effectively
13. Carrying out regular inspections and resolving issues promptly
14. Maintaining accurate records and documentation
15. Reporting progress and issues to senior management
What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Maintenance Manager, you’ll bring:
16. Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment
17. Strong technical knowledge of building and facility systems
18. Confident leadership and team management skills
19. Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
20. A solid understanding of health and safety procedures
21. Flexibility to support the operation, including evenings or weekends when required
22. Experience progressing from a hands-on role such as a Shift Engineer would be highly beneficial
