The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Survey Planning and Resource Support to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Survey Planning and Resource Support? You will be responsible for supporting the Technical Leads, EcIA Leads, and Survey & Coordination Lead with planning and co-ordination of ecological survey work. The role will require you to work with a team of Ecologists in delivering survey work, and assisting in quality assurance of data. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized and experience of being involved in the delivery of this work on infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities: Supporting the Survey and Resource Lead with the coordination of ecology surveys and data management Supporting the Survey and Resource Lead with originating and keeping health and safety (H&S) documentation up to date Recording and tracking that all staff on site have read and understood all H&S documentation Ensuring that the data is checked for quality A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours: This job might be for you if you have: Qualification or equivalent professional experience in a relevant environment or technical discipline. Chartered or full accredited membership (or working towards one) from a relevant professional institute or equivalent. Experience of working within teams focusing on Habitat and BNG deliverables. Effective written and verbal communication, and organisation/analytical skills. Excellent H&S awareness. Experience of quality document production using various software inc. excel, word, GIS, PowerPoint.
