We are excited to be recruiting for the role of Social Welfare Adviser Housing
The role and what you'll be doing
You will work as part of our existing Housing team, providing advice and casework support to clients at risk of losing their home across our four delivery areas; Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside and Durham. The role is predominantly office-based and will involve travel throughout the region.
Reporting to the Housing Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering quality, impartial advice, advocacy, and casework to help people know and understand their rights and responsibilities whilst fulfilling our obligations to our clients and funders.
You will hold a Citizens Advice Generalist Certificate with experience of providing advice on housing law issues or an equivalent IAG level 2.
