This role offers a remote working opportunity with the expectation of working from the Cumbrian headquarters in Carlisle once a month for planned team meetings. You'll also support the development of analysts within the team, including technical skills development and succession planning. Your Exciting Challenges Technical Pricing Leadership: Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of pricing models with ongoing development and maintenance, becoming the data SME for mortgage products Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors, general market, and regulatory pricing/product developments to deliver improved propositions and financial performance Product Advocacy: Act as an advocate within the business, liaising with departments and branch network to promote product features and benefits Governance & Reporting: Support product governance and performance reporting to internal committees including Product and Pricing Committee and Board Risk Management: Manage pricing risks, identify mitigants and implement new controls while ensuring all rate changes follow governance processes Management Information: Develop and manage accurate MI dashboards to monitor product performance and inform pricing decisions Product Lifecycle: Deliver product launches and withdrawals accurately and quickly, ensuring full business engagement Stakeholder Communication: Write clear business proposals for product changes and communicate pricing change proposals to gain consensus across the organisation What We're Looking For The Essentials: Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and problem-solving skills Financial services experience, ideally in mortgages or commercial areas Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to collect, analyse and interpret data effectively Results-driven individual with proven ability to work on own initiative Customer-focused approach with understanding of customer needs Ability to think and reason logically, communicating complex issues simply Highly Desirable: Experience in mortgage pricing or related financial services pricing role CeMAP qualified or working towards qualification Experience in challenging constructively with focus on continuous improvement Strong relationship management skills to drive performance Organised approach with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Why Choose This Opportunity?
