The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering excellent mixed curriculum lessons to Primary School children with SEN needs such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism (ASC), and other SEND / behavioural difficulties.
You will be working closely and supported by teaching assistants and senior leaders to enable you to create the most nurturing and supportive classroom environment possible.
Who We Are Looking For:
* QTS or equivalent
* An innovative, resilient and patient educator with a compassionate approach to teaching children
* SEN(D) experience in or out of an educational setting
* Clear verbal and non-verbal communication skills
* Able to collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and other support staff
* Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
* Comfortable working across KS1 and KS2
* Ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
