Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for 2 Admin Officers for our client based in Derry (BT48 6BQ). The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £12.97
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Hours of work: 9 – 5 Monday to Friday
Role: Fully office-based Customer Service Representative in an Office telephony team for Teachers’ Pensions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend relevant training, contribute to business performance and branch improvement.
* Comply with policies on Equal Opportunities, Fair Employment, H&S, and Mutual Respect, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Adhere to GDPR policies.
* Support Pensions Team in managing legislative change processes (e.g., McCloud, Goodwin), including training and system development.
* Maintain stakeholder relationships to support business outcomes, including IT support and audits.
* Review and resolve data errors on member records.
* Produce and issue benefit statements.
* Respond to member queries.
* Develop knowledge of all work aspects within the Business Area for team flexibility.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Essential Criteria:
* Five GCSE/GCE passes (A, B, or C) including Maths and English. (Proof of certificates required)
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to use own initiative.
