The Technology Solutions Security Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data-driven systems. This role bridges traditional cybersecurity with emerging AI-specific threats, ensuring AI systems are secure, compliant, resilient, and trustworthy across their lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cybersecurity, understands AI/ML architectures and data pipelines, and can translate technical risk into actionable guidance for engineering, product development, and leadership teams.
General Responsibilities
1. Evaluate business and technical requirements to recommend secure, scalable technology solutions.
2. Support the design, implementation, and optimization of security tools, systems, and processes.
3. Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into technology solutions and projects.
5. Conduct risk assessments and assist in remediation planning.
6. Analyze incidents and support response efforts, including root cause analysis and reporting
7. Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and security controls.
8. Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
9. Assist with audits, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Stay current on emerging technologies, threats, and industry trends.
Experience / Qualifications
11. A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
12. Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
13. Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
14. Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
15. Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
16. Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
17. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
18. Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
Candidate profile:
Education
19. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
Experience
20. Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in an IT, Security Operations, or Technology Support environment, with exposure to the following:
Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms)Security monitoring / endpoint protection tools (e.g., Cylance, CrowdStrike Falcon, Carbon Black)Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools (e.g., Proofpoint or similar)Vulnerability management tools and programs, including vulnerability scanning, tracking, and remediation support (e.g., Rapid7, Falcon, Tanium)
Nice to have (optional, if you want to soften it slightly)
21. Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and security operations processes.
22. Exposure to incident management, access reviews, or security investigations.
