Secondary Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide high-quality tutoring to secondary school students in a specific subject area
* Develop tailored lesson plans and materials to meet the individual learning needs of students
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff
* Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to support students' academic success
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with secondary school students
* Strong subject knowledge in the specific area of tutoring
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
* Understanding of current educational practises and learning strategies
* Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or subject area
* Experience in delivering online tutoring or remote learning
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule

* Potential for remote tutoring opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
