About the roleTech 2 – Remote Early-Life Support Engineer provides critical first-line support to end users during the initial phase of IT deployment and migration. Operating remotely, this role involves responding to queries via phone, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth transition for users receiving new devices. 18th October 2025 till 24th October 2025Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide remote early-life support to end users via phone following device refresh or migration.
2. Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
3. Guide users through setup, login, and configuration steps as needed.
4. Escalate unresolved orplex issues to onsite support teams or higher-level engineers.
5. Maintain clear and accurate records of support interactions and resolutions.
6. Collaborate with the Project Manager and onsite teams to ensure consistent support coverage.
7. Adhere to all security protocols and confidentiality requirements associated with SC clearance.
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
8. Valid Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
9. Proven experience in IT support, preferably in early-life or post-deployment environments.
10. Strong verbalmunication and customer service skills.
11. Ability to troubleshootmon desktop, laptop, and software issues remotely.
12. Familiarity with workflow and ticketing systems.
13. Reliable internet connection and professional remote working setup.
14. Ability to work flexible hours to support in-hours and out-of-hours queries.
