Are you looking to start a new career within Health & Safety? We are currently seeking a keen, highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Health & Safety Advisor. Providing support across our projects; ensuring all compliance, documentation and safe practices are adhered to. You will be given the opportunity to grow and build your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide daily support for the team with any administrative tasks.
* Develop and issue Toolbox talks to the field engineers.
* Support incident investigations and reporting.
* Assist the Health & Safety team with developing and implementing health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
* Promote safe working practices throughout the company.
* Daily production & distribution of method statements and Risk Assessments.
* Undertake data collection to create reports to issue to internal and external customers.
* Assist the H&S Team with reporting ensuring accuracy and clarity.
* Maintain detailed records to ensure compliant with all requirements.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in an administrative and/or support role.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of rail industry would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
* Ability to multitask working across multiple projects, prioritising workloads to ensure planned deadlines are met.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, ideally with an intermediate to advance level in Excel and Word.
* A proactive approach to problem solving, with skills to identify problem at root causes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of the team.

This role is a hybrid role, you will be required to attend our office based in Thame, Oxfordshire regularly and attend client sites as and when required.

We offer a competitive day rate dependent on experience.

Please note that this is a fixed-term, self employed contract position.
