Faults & Maintenance Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our equipment onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to maintain our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance:
* Develop and carry out regular maintenance schedules for equipment.
* Cleaning of equipment, i.e. CCTV, CIS, HP, Cabinet, PA & Speakers.
* Inspect and test machinery and systems to identify and prevent potential issues.
Repair and Troubleshooting:
* Diagnose and repair equipment, if needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
* Prepare and submit reports on maintenance performance and equipment status.
Health and Safety Compliance:
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: GCSE grades or equivalent
Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities management setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment. Are computer-literate and able to use efficiently.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing maintenance tasks.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report on maintenance activities.
Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Health and Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in a maintenance environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
