Management Accountant Role - Rapidly Growing Services Group - Permanent - Based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing services group based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, to recruit an experienced & dynamic Management Accountant. A permanent growth role for the organisation, working closely with & supporting the Financial Controller in managing the day-to-day financial transactions, budgeting/forecasting processes through to management accounts preparation with analysis & process improvement projects. The position has future development opportunities, open to part-qualified/qualified finance professionals or qualified by experience accountants looking to add value within a fast-paced, successful group. Your new role Your key duties will involve preparing monthly management accounts to include P&L reporting, overhead analysis, assisting with budgeting & forecasting processes. You will provide detailed variance analysis and develop monthly reporting packs, including sales and operational performance reports. Prepare & review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, maintaining the fixed asset register & handling VAT processes. You will business partner with non-financial management to explain performance & financial risk/opportunities, cash flow forecasting, be involved in group reporting requirements & work collaboratively with the finance team to improve processes/reporting/systems. You will support the Financial Controller in the development of junior team members & be involved in ad-hoc projects to enable future business growth. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this varied & fast-paced Management Accountant role, you will need experience in a similar position, ideally part-qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience. Strong communication skills to business partner internally & build external relationships; key MS Excel skills with knowledge of various financial systems. You will be able to interpret financial data & translate them into insights, key process improvement skills, & accuracy in financial reporting. You will be adaptable to business needs, willing to learn & support others within the team/business, along with being used to managing workloads to meet deadlines. Experience with Business Central financial system, along with working within a multi-entity group, would be advantageous but not essential. What you'll get in return This permanent Management Accountant role offers a salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
