The Role
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced solicitor who can provide strategic oversight, compliance, and supervision.
The role will begin on a part-time consultancy basis, offering flexibility as we build systems and expand our caseload. As the firm develops, there will be a clear opportunity to transition into a permanent Head of Legal position.

Act as COLP and ensure SRA compliance.
Supervise caseworkers and paralegals, reviewing and signing off files.
Advise on litigation strategy, settlements, and risk management.
Help shape the firm's long-term legal framework, training, and culture.

Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and housing disrepair case law.
Proven experience in a supervisory or Head of Department role.
Pragmatic, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a growing practice.
Open to consultancy now, with interest in a more permanent role as the firm scales.
Well-suited to candidates seeking flexible, part-time senior work, including those later in their career or semi-retired who wish to remain active in practice.
What We Offer
Flexible, part-time consultancy arrangement to begin.
Competitive, experience-based package tailored to the candidate.
Remote working, with occasional London presence when required.
The opportunity to be part of an exciting new ABS from the ground up.
