Description This role is to provide recruitment support within the Flexible Staffing team, with a focus on short-term and temporary positions on University of Nottingham campuses. You will be supporting hiring managers with end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring that roles are filled to required deadlines and in line with employment legislation requirements. The Flexible Staffing team are a small and busy team based within the University HR department. This is a temporary full-time role for a period of 12 weeks. Start date: 1 st September 2025 End date: 28th November 2025 Working hours: 36.25 hours Monday-Friday (Usually 8.45am - 5pm) Pay rate: £13.30 per hour plus holiday pay Location: Kings Meadow Campus. (2 days on campus and 3 working from home) Dress code: Smart/Casual Duties and Responsibilities: Using UniCore platform UniCore (Oracle) to check and submit job requisitions on the managers behalf. Respond to candidate and hiring manager enquiries via UniCore helpdesk, by phone and email, advising or signposting them to the correct service as appropriate. Updating job adverts and posting them to the UniCore jobs pages. Sending candidates instructions on how to complete right to work checks. Conducting Home Office online right to work checks with candidates. Checking the outcome of checks completed using digital verification technology and relaying the results to candidates and hiring managers. Reviewing, editing and sending out contract offers. Setting up casual contracts in UniCore. Any other duties as required and relevant to this post. Skills and Experience Required: High attention to detail. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to coordinate and juggle multiple tasks and prioritise with tight deadlines at any one time. Experience of problem solving in a work environment/troubleshooting experience would be advantageous. Experience working in a recruitment support role would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided. Previous experience using a recruitment platform would be advantageous.
