We're seeking a sales-driven, customer-focused leader to join our team as a Hire Manager at our new Longwell Green branch. As the forefront of driving success and hitting key targets, you'll develop and execute a sales action plan that exceeds budget performance through a proactive sales approach.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a winning sales action plan and drive results beyond targets.
* Coach and train the team on tool hire, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are in good condition, safe, and ready for use.
* Balance stock levels to meet demand, ensuring the right gear is available.
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the Hire team, training, supervising, and motivating for top performance.
* Provide excellent customer service, offering smart solutions and upselling to boost sales.
* Maintain effective communication with the team and branch through daily toolbox talks.
Requirements:
* Experience in tool hire, plant hire, or a leadership role is desirable, but sales or customer service experience is also acceptable.
* Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* A safety-focused approach, ensuring equipment and the work environment are safe and sound.
* Proactivity, thriving in a fast-paced environment and seeking ways to improve processes.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks (8:00 am to 12:00 pm).
