Job Description
Instructional Designer – Global Transformation
Location: Hybrid – x2 days per week in South East HQ
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + bonus + strong benefits
The Company:
We’re partnering with a global organisation undergoing a major transformation across its international operations. With teams spanning North America, Europe and beyond, the business is investing heavily in new systems, smarter processes, and more connected ways of working.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the early stages of a large-scale global programme, where new tools, platforms, and ways of working are being introduced across multiple markets.
The Role:
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can design, build, and shape learning at a global scale.
This is not a coordination or delivery-only role. You’ll be responsible for building learning solutions end-to-end, from identifying needs, to designing curriculum, to creating engaging content using modern authoring tools.
You’ll work closely with technical and operational teams to translate complex system and process changes into clear, structured, and scalable learning experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing and developing end-to-end training programmes for global system rollouts.
* Creating engaging learning content.
* Conducting training needs analysis to identify knowledge gaps and define learning approaches.
* Translating complex technical and operational concepts into accessible, user-focused content.
* Coordinating and supporting training delivery in line with project timelines.
* Working closely with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders across global markets.
* Supporting post-go-live phases, gathering feedback, and continuously improving learning solutions.
Profile of Person:
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in instructional design or learning & development, who enjoys building learning solutions from scratch and working within project environments.
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in instructional design / learning & development.
* Hands-on experience with content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, or similar).
* Experience conducting training needs assessments and translating insights into learning solutions.
* Experience designing curriculum, learning journeys, and structured training programmes.
* Strong ability to simplify complex or technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
* Experience working within projects or transformation environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine instructional design expertise with real-world impact, this offers the chance to do exactly that.
