Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor needed in Barnsley Paying £22.20 per hr ref 000A BC05 / 1 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Carry out damp and mould inspections and surveys across residential properties Diagnose causes of damp, mould, and condensation, including structural and environmental issues Prepare clear, detailed survey reports with photographs and recommendations for remedial works Specify repairs and treatments in line with good practice and relevant standards Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to explain findings and proposed actions Monitor works on site to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion Identify and escalate serious hazards or safeguarding concerns where required Maintain accurate records and update property management systems Support compliance with housing health and safety and property condition standards If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.
