Key Responsibilities required for New Business Development Executive
1. Make high-volume outbound B2B calls (target of 100+ per day).
2. Generate leads from cold data outreach and marketing campaigns.
3. Pitch services, build strong relationships by trust using a solution-based approach.
4. Identify decision-makers, contract end dates, and meter/site information.
5. Capture data accurately and update CRM systems.
6. Build relationships with prospects to turn them into qualified hot leads.
7. Secure Letters of Authority (LOAs) to progress opportunities.
8. Pass fully qualified leads to the Business Development Managers (BDMs) for closing.
Skills and Experience required for New Business Development Executive
9. Proven experience in generating new business (B2B outbound calling).
10. Solution-selling experience (energy sector experience beneficial but not essential).
11. Strong pitching, influencing, and communication skills.
12. High resilience with the ability to handle high call volumes consistently.
13. Confident in identifying decision-makers and building rapport quickly.
14. Organised, target-driven, and motivated to exceed lead-gen goals.
15. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
