The National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) is a new, purpose-built 70-bed facility located on the Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate near Loughborough. It will deliver a centre of excellence to improve rehabilitation services in England and is co-located with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, sharing some of the world-class rehabilitation facilities.
The NRC is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the team. The successful candidate will provide an effective specialist service in complex rehabilitation, including assessment and advice/treatment, as well as contributing to the NRC's national ambition of training, education, research, and innovation.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide specialist occupational therapy services to patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care.
* Participate in education, training, and research activities to promote evidence-based practice.
Person Specification
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Health Care Professional Council registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience of working with patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
