Year 4 Teacher – Warrington

Position: Year 4 Teacher
Start Date: After May Half-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Part-time (with potential for long-term or permanent placement from September)
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons within a Year 4 class, supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2. The role involves planning, preparation, and assessment in line with the national curriculum, while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
* Supporting pupils’ academic progress in core subjects including English and Maths
* Preparing pupils for lower Key Stage 2 expectations and assessments
* Assessing, recording, and tracking pupil progress effectively
* Creating a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
* Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and parents/carers
* Upholding safeguarding procedures and strong behaviour management strategies
* Contributing positively to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4 (including placements)
* Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
* Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
* A genuine commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
