Overview
The Responsible Individual plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support within a residential setting. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents. The Responsible Individual will lead a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance and support to enhance the quality of life for individuals in our care.
Duties
* Oversee the management and administration of care plans tailored to meet individual resident needs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as relevant legislation governing assisted living and nursing homes.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality senior care, including specialised dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident wellbeing and implement necessary adjustments to care plans.
* Facilitate effective communication among team members, residents, and families to promote a collaborative care environment.
* Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in medication administration and other essential areas of care.
* Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staff performance, and operational procedures.
* Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.
Skills
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Strong background in nursing or senior care with a focus on dementia and Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
* Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience in a healthcare environment.
* Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address individual needs effectively.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving high standards of care.
* Proficient in medication administration protocols and best practices within residential settings.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff members.

Pay: £33,360.00-£34,320.00 per year
