Job Purposes and primary objectives
M365 Architect for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and efficient Microsoft 365 solutions that enable organizations to meet their productivity objectives. The role emphasizes ensuring strong identity and access management, leveraging productivity and collaboration tools, driving automation initiatives, shaping the future roadmap, and implementing DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities
* UK SC (Security Cleared) is Mandatory
* MS Azure Identity & Access management (Entra ID Administrator) and Productivity & Collaboration (Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Slack and other products)
* Design and Implementation of IAM Solutions (Architect identity and access frameworks leveraging Azure Active Directory (AAD) features like Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and more)
* Implement Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) to ensure least‑privilege access.
* Implementing Microsoft Azure tenant‑level configuration Experience in Security and Compliance (Define and enforce security policies for identity protection, including password less authentication and advanced threat protection.)
* Proficient in designing and implementing M365 DevOps architecture, including CI/CD pipeline, automation.
* Skilled in utilizing M365 automation tools effectively.
* Familiarity with the Microsoft M365 product future roadmap
* Significant experience of PowerShell scripting
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Licensing
* Excellent problem solving and decision‑making skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* ITIL Processes – Change, Incident and Problem management
* Agile Framework – Jira and Confluence
Key Skills & Knowledge
* Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure M365 solutions tailored to organizational needs.
* Hands‑on experience with MS Azure environment and M365 collaborative products designing and solution.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating DevOps methodologies into M365 environments.
* Experience in driving automation initiatives using automation tools.
* Skilled in utilizing M365 automation tools effectively.
* Ability to shape and implement future roadmaps for M365 products, services and solutions.
* Experience in Security and Compliance (Define and enforce security policies for identity protection, including password less authentication and advanced threat protection.). Significant experience of PowerShell scripting.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Licensing.
* Should be well versed with Agile (JIRA and Confluence).
* ITIL Framework.
