Operations Performance Analyst (Data Analyst).

The role
Lineage UK is currently looking for an Operations Performance Clerk to join our new team in Heywood. The Operations Performance Clerk plays a key role in supporting the performance team by tracking and reporting on operational volumes, vehicle utilisation, and customer activity across the network. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel and data handling skills, who enjoys working with numbers and supporting operational insight.
Tasks include:
Volume Tracking:
1. Monitor and report on overall network volume
2. Track outbound, trunking, and collection volumes per depot
3. Provide customer-level volume insights
Vehicle Utilisation:
4. Analyse depot-level vehicle numbers and fill rates
5. Conduct rigid vehicle analysis
6. Report on overall network utilisation
Customer Volume Tracking:
7. Split and report Retail vs. FS volumes
8. Track collection and trunked volumes by customer
KPI Reporting:
9. Complete and maintain KPI dashboards (TBD)
10. Identify trends and support performance reporting
Retailer Analysis:
11. Provide retailer split and customer analysis
12. Support depot-level retailer performance reviews
Qualifications:
13. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
14. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple data streams
16. Previous experience in logistics or transport operations (desirable)
17. Preferable a Bachelors degree, this could be an interesting opportunity to start your career
