Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor /FCILEx/ Fee‑Earner to join a law firm based in Skegness, Lincolnshire. This is a permanent, full‑time job with hybrid working (up to 2 days per week). Role Responsibilities
The incoming Private Client Solicitor or Fee‑Earner will be running a full caseload of private client matters as well as assisting with allocation of work within the department, as well as assisting with training and supervision of junior team members. Some of the daily duties will include:
* Managing a full caseload of Private Client matters including wills, probate, powers of attorney, trusts and estate planning
* Performing fee‑earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s quality risk management procedures.
* Assisting the Director with management of junior team members.
This role also has the opportunity for progression to head of department for someone who wishes to take a more formal managerial role within the business.
Person Specification
Applications are sought from Solicitors, Legal Executives or those qualified by experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of Private Client matters, especially the more complex elements of trust and estate planning. You will also:
* Have excellent IT skills including operating a case‑management system
* Have the ability to work well as a team, as well as being able to work on your own initiative
* Be willing to participate in business development activities
