Maintenance Engineer - Duns
Full-time | 38 hours per week | Competitive salary
We're looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer, to play a key role in keeping our clients site running safely and efficiently - minimising downtime and ensuring equipment performs at its best.
You’ll be involved in preventative maintenance, fault finding, electrical/mechanical repairs, and continuous improvement projects. Full training will be provided on our specialised equipment.
What you'll do
* Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
* Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults.
* Calibrate and maintain production and plant equipment.
* Support production operations during busy periods.
* Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
* Contribute to site improvement and efficiency initiatives.
What we're looking for
* Qualifications: HND/NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in a maintenance or manufacturing role.
* Skills: Strong problem-solving, good IT knowledge, and attention to detail.
* Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: 17th Edition Electrical qualification and experience in a manufacturing setting.
* Flexibility: Able to work occasional overtime when required.
