Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a large, inclusive secondary school in Stockport, offering a Graduate Training Programme for aspiring teachersto work as Cover Supervisorsstarting in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
* Support a variety of subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Gain valuable insight into teaching strategies, classroom dynamics, and pupil management
This role offers regular training and CPD, providing a fantastic route into teaching via Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme.
Ideal Candidate:
* Recent graduate in any subject (Education, Psychology, English, Science, Maths especially welcome)
* Confident, resilient, and professional with excellent communication skills
* Passionate about education and keen to make a difference
* Experience with young people (e.g. youth work, tutoring, mentoring) is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
