Commercial Customer Service Specialist

Location: United Kingdom – Marlow


Role Overview

As the newest member of the Customer Service Team, you will be the first point of contact and interface between the Customer and all relevant internal departments. You will deliver professional, high‑quality service, supporting customers before, during and after their requirements are met and increasing satisfaction and retention for dealers and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

* Build rapport and collaborative relationships with customers.
* Enter orders accurately and apply discounts after proper approvals.
* Provide pricing, inform customers of backorders with estimated ship dates.
* Attend product trainings and maintain organized customer files.
* Prioritise needs, think quickly, and provide solutions.
* Act as a member of a European cross‑border and cross‑functional team; provide backup for UK & Nordic region offices.
* Develop maximum sales potential for assigned customers through excellent service and product knowledge.
* Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints diplomatically.
* Ensure orders move accurately through the system to shipping.
* Apply correct prices and discounts (after approvals).
* Support global key accounts and accounts with special requirements.
* Upsell or cross‑sell where appropriate.
* Stay updated on product information and updates.
* Analyse customer accounts and correct/modify files promptly.
* Maintain updated, organised files for all assigned customers.
* Contact customers for missing information to keep the database accurate.
* Assist coworkers in the department as needed.
* Support achievement of relevant KPI targets.
* Provide repair service customer support.
* Improve global customer master data consistency and support standardized workflows.

You are flexible, adapt quickly to a fast‑paced environment, support organisational change, and possess a customer‑first attitude. You are motivated, results‑focused, detail‑oriented, and have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and relationship‑building skills. You can work independently and as a team player.
