Responsibilities:
* Observe, assess and plan for each key child's individual learning goals
* Plan stimulating and engaging activities in line with childrens next steps
* Create a safe and nurturing environment
* Work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to ensure children are being fully supported
Skills & Knowledge:
* Have a sound and current understanding of the EYFS
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
* Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working with young children in an early years setting
Qualifications
* Completion of a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification, e.g. Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People's Workforce, NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
* Completion of Safeguarding Awareness course (desirable)
* Paediatric First Aid certificate (within date if qualified post 30th June 2016)
The position is full time working between 36 to 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday between 7.30am-6.00pm.

Due to the nature of the work, we will require an additional criminal records check (or checks if more than one country) for anyone who has lived or worked abroad.
