An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Legal Services Section, providing a joint legal service to Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council. We are seeking a solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with knowledge and experience primarily in employment law to join the Litigation and Regulatory team, reporting to the Senior Lawyer and Deputy Monitoring Officer. The team deals with a wide variety of areas including employment, housing, criminal and civil litigation, planning, and licensing.
The role involves providing employment advice, assisting with general litigation matters, researching legislation, and offering pragmatic legal guidance to Officers and Members of both Councils.
We are looking for a positive, driven, and innovative professional with excellent analytical and research skills. The candidate should be a good team player, self-motivated, and capable of delivering clear and practical legal advice.
