About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming, along with C# to join our client’s innovative engineering team.
Our client is a leader in Parking Payment Solutions and is now expanding into the exciting domain of Railway Ticketing Systems — a new frontier in connected, real-time embedded devices.
This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded software, writing code that directly interacts with the device hardware, not just backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain embedded applications using C# and .NET.
* Work closely with hardware teams to integrate software at the device level.
* Develop and deploy solutions within a Microservices-based architecture.
* Work with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) to ensure reliable, low-latency performance.
* Participate in system testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Skills & Experience Required
âś… Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Core or 5/6/7).
âś… Solid understanding of Embedded Systems Development.
âś… Experience with RTOS and low-level programming.
âś… Familiarity with Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
âś… Experience working closely with hardware / firmware engineers.
âś… Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
* Experience in payment systems, transport, or ticketing solutions.
* Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP).
* Background in IoT or connected device environments.
