We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiology Nurse to take up the Band 6 Junior Sister / Charge Nurse fixed-term role within the Imaging Department at Hammersmith Hospital.
Our supportive nursing team combines technical and high-dependency nursing skills, working alongside radiologists, radiographic staff, and anesthetists to care for complex patients across all imaging modalities, including Angio, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Recovery, and Nuclear Medicine.
The Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse will play an integral part in leading the team, aligning with our trust values, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in this innovative environment. General Responsibilities:
1. Support the radiology team in providing a comprehensive, high-quality, efficient service to patients.
2. Use effective communication methods with colleagues and patients at all levels, ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and appropriate.
3. Perform any reasonable support tasks as requested by the radiographic team.
4. Highlight or raise concerns related to equipment, patient safety, or other issues to the modality lead or coordinating radiographer.
