About The Role:
Location: This role will cover the Midlands / South and travel to sites will be required.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* To help up-skill operational management so that their QHSE competence, confidence and abilities are enhanced
* To participate in policy and process reviews to help achieve simplicity of access, easy understanding and full implementation
* To communicate proactively on QHSE issues and, as requested, prepare reports, bulletins and briefs to promote learning
* To react to emerging challenges and adapt as necessary
* To support the delivery of QHSE strategic objectives and initiatives targeted at continual QHSE improvement
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
* Must have Right to Work in the UK
* General secondary education with a high level of numeracy and literacy
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
* TECH IOSH status
* Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety compliance and statutory requirements placed on the business
* Extensive practical safety management and delivery experience, preferably in a service, manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment
* A working knowledge of environmental law is preferred
