Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: Managing cloud infrastructure including costs, VMs, Windows Server, APIs, databases, networks, low-code and no-code solutions. Presenting infrastructure health metrics and roadmaps to senior stakeholders. Managing and querying Microsoft SQL Server databases using T-SQL, Server Profiler and SSCM. Managing Microsoft Fabric (or similar) workspaces and pipelines. Delivery of proactive improvements to drive stability, resilience and security of cloud infrastructure. Ownership of critical incidents, working with engineers and non-technical colleagues to resolve and mitigate incidents in a timely manner. Ownership of security controls in cloud environments. Responsibilities: Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures in conjunction with the Head of Systems and Engineering. Manage the Microsoft Fabric environment, ensuring adherence to industry best practice. Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to the continuous improvement of the companys technical infrastructure. Audit systems and assess their outcomes in tandem with the outsourced IT provider. Resolve incidents related to internal applications, data and critical infrastructure. Guide and support Engineering team members in developing their technical and professional skills. Lead, plan and implement changes to internal applications, infrastructure and data. Work closely with the Head of Systems and Engineering to identify improvements in cost-efficiency, security, reliability and maintainability of internal applications and infrastructure. Develop tools and processes to standardise and de-risk operational changes to internal systems and data. Automate manual processes. Develop and maintain proactive alerting to prevent incidents, and reactive alerting to enable rapid incident resolution.
