Education/Qualifications/Training
Essential criteria
10. MBBS or equivalent
11. MRCS or equivalent
Desirable criteria
12. FRCS (Plast) or equivalent (DESIRABLE)
Experience
Essential criteria
13. 4 years full time postgraduate training (or it’s equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis) ideally 2 of which need to be in plastic surgery
14. Ideally had some time working at plastic surgery registrar level
15. Ability to work comfortably at the clinical level of a specialist trainee year 7, including logbook evidence
16. Evidence of recent audit
17. Good grasp of audit methodology, and practice of Clinical Governance
18. Participated in MDT
19. Experience of skin cancer management including sentinel lymph node biopsies and block dissections
20. Evidence the ability to operate independently
