We’re looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support our growing team by carrying out quality inspections, monitoring processes, and helping drive ongoing improvements throughout the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on product quality and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
As our Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in safeguarding product quality by:
1. Conducting internal audits
2. Performing goods-inward, product, and equipment quality inspections
3. Carrying out daily process-based quality checks and recording results
4. Monitoring scrap levels and investigating root causes
5. Raising and progressing corrective actions with suppliers
6. Supporting validation of supplier corrective actions
7. Overseeing internal and external calibration of equipment
8. Assisting in the creation of SOPs and work instructions
9. Managing and reporting on customer returns
10. Undertaking projects focused on continuous improvement and Lean principles
11. Ensuring clear, accurate documentation and communication across teams
Skills & Qualities:
Essential:
12. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification
13. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
14. Ability to read technical drawings
15. Experience using basic measuring equipment
16. Intermediate MS Office skills
17. Strong time management, attention to detail, and QMS record-keeping abilities
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Confident decision-maker
20. Organised, able to work in a busy environment, and willing to challenge where needed
Desirable:
21. IOSH / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 internal auditor training
22. 5S experience
23. Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems
24. Knowledge of root cause analysis tools
