The trustees of the Valerie Evelyn Morant trust are seeking additional trustees. The trust is a charitable trust established by the will of Valerie Morant. This trust's objectives are as follows:- The promotion of arts education and research (with particular emphasis on pre — nineteenth century visual arts) for the benefit of the people of East Sussex and the London Boroughs of Haringey and Barnet. Projects for the advancement of medical research and education into and the alleviation of suffering arising from gastro-intestinal disorders (particularly bowel disorders) for the benefit of the people of East Sussex and the London Boroughs of Haringey and Barnet. Projects for the maintenance and improvement of maritime and coastal search and rescue services for the benefit of the people of East Sussex. This is a voluntary role. The new trustees would preferably have experience relating to one or more of the above objectives. Experience of the charity sector would also be beneficial.
