Whether we're providing long or short-term, convalescence, respite or palliative care, our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will:
* take responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of residents
* assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
* deliver a level of care that preserves residents' dignity and individuality
* help residents with limited mobility to learn to use aids
* offer emotional support to residents who are confused or distressed
* deliver care to residents at the end of life
* safeguard residents; recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns
