About the role
The individual in this position will participate in and ensure the successful execution of compliance reviews and consulting work for ACA's clients. Responsibilities include analyzing clients’ books and records for regulatory deficiencies, drafting reports, preparing documents, and summarizing findings. The role encourages ongoing professional development through available training resources.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist with ACA service offerings such as regulatory filings, expert network chaperoning, AML support, electronic communication reviews, ethics and personal trading reviews, and marketing reviews.
* Analyze clients’ books and records for regulatory issues.
* Interpret complex documents to identify risks.
* Assist in planning reviews, including client calls, policy reviews, and scope discussions.
* Draft client reports summarizing reviews and findings.
* Support ad-hoc projects, including analyst training, conferences, and tailored client engagements.
Qualifications:
* Strong academic background (degree or recognized professional qualification).
Preferred experience:
* 0-2 years in financial services or knowledge of UK regulatory regime, including FCA rules, Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, MiFID, AIFMD, etc.
Skills and attributes:
* Professional integrity, dependability, adaptability.
* Discretion and sound judgment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment.
* Effective communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with technology.
Certifications:
* Willingness to undertake Investment Management Certificate or CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance.
