Job Description:
We are currently recruiting 2 x Maintenance Technicians to join a growing team based at a Train Depot in Derby. This is a great opportunity for skilled technicians looking for rolling hours with the option for extra overtime.
Working Hours:
* 06:30 – 13:30
* 13:30 – 21:30
Pay Rates: £22 p/h LTD/UMBRELLA or £18-19.50 p/h PAYE
Full-time role with additional hours available.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment and facilities
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical faults
* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
* Maintain accurate maintenance records
* Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and operations team
* Working on a train depot or similar advantageous
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer or similar role
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
* Must have NVQ Level 3 or similar.
