We are recruiting for a Project Manager to work on our Southern Water Framework, reporting to our Maidstone office. You will be expected to work in a hybrid model, commuting to the Maidstone office once or twice weekly, and travel to HQ at least once a month for project reviews and client site visits.
Responsibilities
* Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday
* Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
* Take responsibility for the health & safety of yourself and all under your control, and complete RAMS
* Create and manage the appropriate Project Documentation and control project expenditure within a monthly project reporting structure
* Maintain close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate
* Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment. CDM Awareness (ideally SSSTS or SMSTS)
* Capable of effectively managing more than one project at any one time, depending on complexity
* Capable of effectively managing teams, including employees and subcontractors
* Understanding of project governance procedures and commercial aspects of projects
* Sound knowledge of H & S legislation and regulations
Qualifications and Experience
* CSCS card
* Driving licence
* Industrial engineering experience – e.g., water industry, MEICA, civils
* Experience in the design and delivery of projects
* Experience in managing CDM sites and working on CDM sites
* Industry based qualifications such as NVQ/C&G
* Desirable: HNC/HND level qualifications
* Desirable: Site experience essential, currently or previously in a supervisory site role or Project engineer role
* Desirable: Southern Water Experience desirable
