This is a temporary position to cover an early retirement, bridging the gap while we appoint a permanent teacher — and that could be you ! Teaching Responsibilities: As our Year 5 teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported Assess pupil progress regularly and use data to inform teaching and interventions Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school priorities and share best practice Contribute to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of pupils in line with our Catholic ethos Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing Take part in school events, trips, and enrichment activities that make learning memorable and fun We’re looking for someone who: Brings energy, creativity, and a love of learning to the classroom Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusive education Can inspire and support children to achieve their best Is ready to be part of a supportive, faith-based school community Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: January 2026 (with potential to apply for the permanent role) Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to make your mark, we’d love to hear from you.
