Objective
To work as a Core Security Supervisor, providing a high level of customer service at the client site. Act as the first point of contact for all staff and visitors entering the Woodside Leisure Park, liaise with the client and stakeholders where required, and work alongside other service lines on site. Ensure the protection of persons and property, thereby providing a safe and secure environment.
Duties
* Maintain good order on site, protecting everyone against violent acts, abuse and accidents.
* Protect the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste.
* Protect private property belonging to the client, staff and visitors from loss, theft and damage.
* Prevent offences against the law, UniTrust disciplinary codes and policies, and report all incidents to management.
* Ensure basic fire precautions are in place, with clear exit routes in each unit.
* Undertake external patrols and inspections per Assignment Instruction/SOPs.
* Utilise the patrolling and reporting system where applicable.
* Work in a leisure park environment with large vehicle and personnel movement.
* Collaborate with unit tenants to ensure security procedures are observed, providing occasional standing and external patrolling.
* Escalate security and maintenance issues to the SDM/FM and UniTrust Contract Manager via detailed emails or incident reports.
* Assist with emergency procedures as part of the SDM’s/FM’s Response Team.
* Manage contractors for the client and tenants, liaising with tenants as needed.
* Complete permit‑to‑work forms as required.
* Carry out escort duties for contractors and deliveries when required.
* Ensure no unauthorised persons enter prohibited areas.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Manage ad‑hoc projects and tasks.
* Monitor and respond to incidents.
* Control key access and manage daily issues.
* Perform general security gate‑house duties.
Person Specification
* Hold a Security Industry Training Organisation basic qualification or equivalent experience.
* First aid qualification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided by the company.
* Complete a minimum of 3 days on‑site training (2 days and 1 night for familiarisation).
* Exhibit excellent literacy, communication, and English language skills.
* Possess a good telephone manner.
* Be computer literate, proficient in e‑mail, Word and Excel.
* Be capable of using all security equipment necessary to perform duties efficiently.
* Maintain a consistently smart appearance in the uniform provided by UniTrust and its clients.
* Show reliability, energy, self‑motivation, initiative and the ability to work without supervision.
* Handle multiple tasks calmly and professionally.
* Maintain excellent timekeeping.
* Demonstrate tact and diplomacy in dealing with people at all levels, including clients, tenants and visitors, in all circumstances.
* Exhibit self‑confidence and an interest in self‑development.
* Possess a high level of physical fitness to perform patrol and emergency response duties effectively.

The nature of the role requires the post holder to maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping.
