An opportunity has arisen for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at NHS Borders. Band 6 candidates must be HCPC registered and have completed an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Clinical Chemistry (or Blood Sciences) or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates who do not have their Specialist Portfolio will be placed on the Band 5 scale until it is completed.
You will be required to participate in a 24/7 shift pattern upon completion of competencies.
The laboratory is located in a beautiful rural setting with a train link within walking distance.
