Overview
We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations People Partner to join our People team in our support office in Colchester. You will play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience, supporting leaders to drive performance, engagement, and culture across the company. You will work closely with managers and teams to provide expert advice and practical support on a wide range of people-related matters. Responsibilities
* Provide an effective Employee Relations service to our managers and support the homes where needed.
* Manage a high volume of complex ER casework and provide detailed advice on specific ER issues to managers.
* Respond to any DSARs or Employment Tribunal applications in line with strict deadlines.
* Liaise with Employment Tribunal offices, ACAS and our legal advisors to support the preparation of documentation for employment tribunals and attend where needed.
* Support in the delivery of ER Training courses, both online and face-to-face.
* Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders and managers on all people-related matters.
* Use HR data and insights to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
* Lead on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, appeals and performance issues.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Skills / Knowledge and Experience
* Skilled at managing high volume and complex casework.
* Strong ER background with the confidence to influence and challenge.
* Proven experience in a role at a Business Partner/Manager or Senior Advisor level.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
* Proficient in using HR systems and handling sensitive data with discretion.
* Able to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* CIPD - Level 5 or equivalent qualification
* Driving licence essential
