Your mission in CMbE
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director CMBE Global, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for high-spec mechanical, electrical and software integrated components. In addition, the ideal candidate will implement procurement systems and digital tools such as ERP, PLM and e-sourcing platforms to ensure that processes remain efficient, transparent and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to lead, coach and develop a team of Buyers and Purchase Administrators by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
About You
The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of technical knowledge, and hands‑on procurement experience within high‑tech or advanced manufacturing environments. With a background engineering or supply chain, the successful candidate will be confident in navigating contract law, supplier audits and managing complex supplier contracts.
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field (CIPS certification is preferred) and have knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle and other digital procurement tools. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of MRP systems, engineering practices, and essential manufacturing documentation such as Bills of Material (BOMs) and Routings.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic, analytical, and technically fluent mindset, and advanced negotiation and influencing skills. They will be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, showing strong commercial judgement and risk‑management capabilities.
