At Universal Pediatrics, our dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide exceptional in-home medical care to our clients. Every day is unique as we tailor our services to meet the individual needs of each client and their family. Here’s what you can expect in this rewarding role:
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and deliver therapies and treatments as per the care plan and physician’s orders.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including families, to ensure seamless communication about the client’s care and progress.
* Empower clients and their families through education and support, helping them thrive.
* Build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to foster effective communication.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our electronic medical record system.
* Stay updated on the client’s care plan, changes in condition, and any requests from families or caregivers.
* Advocate for clients and families, promoting their growth and development.
* Provide specialized nursing care, including management of gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, and more.
What We’re Looking For:
* Active RN or LPN licensure without restrictions.
* Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance.
* CPR certification (can be obtained after hire).
* Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
* Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
