Job Description
This Senior Sustaining Engineer will:
1. Investigate and resolve complex product issues for existing product lines.
2. Drive cost reduction and performance optimization initiatives.
3. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to implement changes.
4. Ensure compliance with ANSI, CSA, UL standards and safety regulations.
5. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for field and production issues.
6. Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Sustaining Engineer should have:
7. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
8. 8+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in combustion systems.
9. Strong knowledge of UL, CSA, ANSI standards for heating systems.
10. Proven track record in sustaining engineering for complex mechanical/electromechanical products.
11. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
12. Experience with gas combustion system design and troubleshooting is a plus.
13. Familiarity with safety certification processes is a plus.
14. Knowledge of heat pump/refrigeration systems and PLC programming is a plus.
