The Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and ensuring the organisation operates efficiently and effectively. You will take ownership of HR, finance administration, facilities management, and governance support, ensuring robust systems and processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries and incoming referrals.
Support the CEOwith strategic planning, governance, and Board meetings, including preparing papers and minutes.
Lead all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff wellbeing.
Ensure compliance with employment law, charity regulations, and internal policies.
Manage the organisations premises, ensuring safety, security, and general facilities management.
Oversee finance administration, including invoices, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Promote a positive organisational culture and uphold the values of the organisation.
Experience & Knowledge:
Proven experience in HR functions, recruitment, and employee wellbeing.
Experience in facilities management, health & safety compliance, and administrative processes.
Strong finance administration skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of employment law and charity governance processes.
Understanding of not-for-profit/charity operations.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent organisational, project management, and IT skills (MS Office, HR & finance systems).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with proactive problem-solving.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
