Mulberry House in Ongar, Essex is a family owned and operated events venue. Our Georgian House and stunning woodland gardens host two large event spaces with outside wedding ceremonies and 24 bedrooms.
We are currently looking for an applicant who wants to work part time working with our Night Manager and thier team. This is a team of two and we need a new candidate to support team working overnight setting up our weddings for the following day.

We are looking for a Night Assistant / Night Porter who will work over night setting up our function rooms ready for the following days weddings / events. There will be evenings you will be lone working and responsible for the health and safety / security of the property. There will be sleepers in the property so strict fire safety / evacuation training will be given.
As a popular and busy wedding venue our night team are responsible to ensure the venue and function rooms are cleaned and flipped for the next day. This involves, sweeping, mopping the floors, relaying the tables and laying the cutlery and glassware to a high standard. We pride ourselves on 5* standards. There will be strict training on fire evacuation procedures.
This is a very important role for us. Its sets the team up for the following day.
This role is flexible and can be 2/3 shifts per week. Start times can be flexible but generally starting around 11pm / midnight and finishing anywhere between 5-7am depending on your working requirements. We are a seasonal business, so in the summer months there is a demand for more shifts than in the off peak seasons.
You will need your own reliable transport, ideally you can drive yourself.
No experience is needed, full training will be given.
