Freelance Clinical Educator/Nurse trainer - Scotland
Role Description
As a Freelance Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes covering clinical practice in health and social care.
The role will be contract-based with the position requiring some travel around sites and the flexibility to work from home for virtual courses.
The day-to-day duties of the role will include planning and delivering training sessions, designing training materials, assessing the impact of training programmes, and developing new courses or adapting existing ones as necessary.
Essentials
Subject and hands-on practical experience in topics such as:
* Venepuncture
* Suction and Oxygen
* Tracheostomy
* Catheterisation
* Syringe Driver
* Cough Assist
* PEG Feeding
* First Aid
Access to own car for travel.
Own laptop/projector.
Qualifications
* Nurse with valid NMC registration
* A relevant teaching/training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, or equivalent)
* Experience delivering training within a health and social care environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
* Experience of assessment processes
* Familiar with the latest developments in clinical practice and learning
